Hi! I am hoping that Natalee is alive and well. I can understand how she could like Joran or some of the others from Aruba. They are good looking and different from American boys. I'm 20, and I think that whoever the guy is with the dark hair, dark skin that is in some of the pics with Joran (not the brothers) is gorgeous! He is wearing a gold chain around his neck and a black shirt. I guess he's friends with Joran--but not Max Arrends.

I also wonder if it weren't a boy from her own high school who might have gotten upset with her. It is possible. He could have been jealous of her attention to Joran et al.

I really think this was an accidental death or three young boys who thought they knew so much and overeated and casued a bigger mess they they could have ever imagined. I don't think this has to do with politics, mafia, raves, cover ups. So the police chief knew Joran's family and he beleived Joran. Would have no other reason not too. Happens all the time her in the US and in my hometown. I think this was just about boys, girls and sex gone wrong. Joran had him a good little system going with tourist, like a lot of other guys all over the world and girls too. Just got matched up with the wrong girl. Natalee may have been looking for sex but just not the kind Joran had to offer. Innocent southern girl looking for the romantic first time or just maybe the romantic fling. Something he did scared or freaked her out. He didn't know how to handle it. What do yall think?

I don't mean this ugly and I may be wrong but as a teacher I get the feeling that the DJ may be a little special. We just assume that everyone is quote normal or average. In foreign countries these special might not be recognized as well as her in the US. That may explain his behavior.

Why do you assume she went swimming late at night, or is it from gossip like everything else. Hey Joran lied from the get go and so did the boys. Apparently, the only thing they know how to do well is tell one lie after the other. Doesn't say much for a smart young man does it, or for the crowd he hangs out with like being able to gamble, drink and whatever else. I wouldn't believe anything from the reid report, just sounds like somebody trying to be offical because they have a website. You must thing Americans are born yesterday.

ok........I odn't get it - I just read steven croes did a interview and said he lied to police to protect the kalpoes brcause he overheard them on the phone say they didn't do anyhting? since when do you overhear a converasation and VOLUNTEER to go the cops and lie to cover someone you DON'T EVEN KNOW???????????/ And they released this guy and the dad too??????there are just no words to even begin to describe the screw ups of the aruba police and the whole system

Steve was stupid to get messed up in this case. I think he wanted to get a little attention, and he sure got it! Days in the slammer, he lost his job, well good. Some people are like that, hard as we mind find it to believe. After crimis, often innocent people go to the police to say, hey I did it! They are attention seekers. Steve comes across as one of them and I sure hope he learned his lesson.

The Ducth ambassador to the United states had made a statement as I am reading on this news. I think it should be linked on this site too if it is posted somewhere on the Net already.

If that e mail that was supposedly from Depak to someone was true and he wrote it????? I notice he mention taking her to see the sharks. OHhhhhhh that is very disturbing. Now, did they all take her to see the sharks? Did VDS and Natalee really go to the beach and he left her there and walked home but in the meantime Depak or brother did come to pick Joran up and found Natalee and took her to see the SHARKS or did they all take her to see the sharks? Gee, even if this all ended with sharks it is hard to know who was there with her for sure due to the beach story.

So, even if the possibility investigators know this could have ended with sharks, theory of that e mail, then they still don't know when and who was there or if all three were there. Sounds like Depak might have been there at least, my guess since he mentioned that as an activity considered.

who is the guy in the first pic to the far right of Joran or left looking at pic with dark hair, dark skin, black shirt/tank and gold chain. This is the guy that I think is so gorgeous. Can someone please give me his name? I have seen him in some of the other pics with Joran. I posted above about this.
