Just got in and want to look into a couple of things. While I'm doing that ... at some point while there are quite a few people coming by, I'd like to introduce anyone interested to the broad, intelligent, informative and often funny world so many bloggers have created.
As a start, the following links represent a few of many places you might want to at least take a look at.
Here's a guy who does some funny stuff - I heard he once WuzzaDem.
An intelligent, thoughful talented writer, and I think wife and mother who is Villianous Company.
This guy is incredibly bright, creative but uses a nettie pot for everything and wears weird shoes - he's a Beautiful Atrocity.
You want to know what is happening in Iraq, the mil blogs hang at the Belmont Club. I have family in Iraq now, by the way.
And one of my oldest and longest friends here is just plain Cranky.
If you are new to blogs, there are an incredible number of bright, dedicated people doing things similar to what I am trying to do here. Please give them a look while I review mail and make a couple of calls, thanks.

Hi Merriwether,
Now it's 9:49 PM. And the temperature is 29 degrees Celsius, 84 degrees Fahrenheit. During the day it's much warmer than in the evenings.

Glad to see that there is another Aruban in here, and that I'm not all by myself. Aruban: are you sure your watch is working ok?

Genie,
I'm sorry, my watch was working o.k., but I had to take care of something else, so I didn't double check what I posted.
Thank you!

Thank you Dan! I was wondering why my hit meter was flipping out at 10 pm. You're a real gentleman regardless of what your commenters think.
