Just FYI

Just received a call from Fox and have a few things to nail down before their car arrives. Sorry, I'm going to have to beg off on that next post until tonight, or tomorrow AM.

First - this incident is a terrible tragedy, and neither I nor anyone else should get so caught up in the facts and the pursuit of them that we forget that most likely a precious human being has met with a tragic fate and been deprived of an entire future she will never know. Also, a family has been damaged by recent events in a manner from which they will never fully recover.

An entire community in Alabama, as well as some particular members have had both Natalee, as well as a certain sense of innocence taken from them through recent events.

And in Aruba, because I have spoken with some, I know they and a great many other people fret and hope, not first for tourism, but for Natalee Holloway and the best possible resolution of this case on behalf of Natalee and her family.

In fact, there are two if not more families in Aruba now suffering from this ordeal, as well. And even if justice does prove this or that family member somehow guilty, that should not condemn the whole, or diminish their right to respect and human kindness.

Aside from answers, which it is the natural human condition to desire, noone should seek anything more or less than the best possible resolution, as stated above.

Dan my take on this isssue is that we have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many persons jsu tfillin blogs with speculation after speculation, some reharshed from earlier specualtion among others.

I have slowly begun to feel for Joran more n more. We need to accept that "ONE IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY". I think that adage should hold under all and every circumstance.

The way is see is, there are TWO major groups of families whose lives have been forever affected by this tragedy.

A part of me would love to rejoice when in the end of it all, the young lady will be found alive and the Joran guy would be exonerated. But as is, many a conspiracy theory will fly about cover up n such like.

A sad situation, no matter how it is looked at.

I do feel for everyone involved in this and of course the Holloway family in particular. I do however believe if the boys in question would tell the truth and if they had told the truth to begin with, this would all be over. It is dragging out anguish and the Aruban authorities have refused all the help our fbi has offered. The poly graphs would at least show who is lying even though it is not admisable in Aruban court. I heard a Senator today the retribution in the form of a safety warning issued by the state department concerning the island would be a last resort if their police cannot find the answer to her disappearance. I would say that would be justifiable!

"Innocent until proven guilty" is a legal designation only. It is a consideration jurors are supposed to maintain until they hear all the evidence.

A truly guilty person is guilty the moment he commits the crime. He is only legally "innocent until proven guilty." We, as observers, can look at facts now and draw a conclusion now based on those facts and then go on to find more facts. We all do that every day in making decisions. We are not violating any rules or laws but following an unfolding investigation in hope of finding a missing girl using current facts! We are not waiting for a court to make a legal determination.

We want Natalee now!! For that we have to follow up on any leads. If they point to guilt now that is truth. What a court may legally determine later has no bearing on saving a girls life now.

Too many innocent are lured away every day by friendly looking predators. That's the broad message I believe. As in current news on Schwartzmiller, molester. (on fox now).

England's Lucie Blackman went missing in Japan..initially they speculated that she was kidnapped and sold in the sex slave market and was transported in the hold of a ship similar to how Africans were transported 400 years ago. Later on it was found that she was murdered and her body was found in pieces in different places. A millionaire is on trial...it took seven months to find her body from the time she disappeared. So, hold on folks, this may take a while yet..

The Aruban officials moveing the three to the prison is part of their procedure. They are only allowed to keep suspects at the police station for ten days.
As a side bar, maybe the move to a real jail will shake those kids up a bit.

I just read the FYI post and I got a really bad feeling about it. I don't know what is happening but I can say we all need to find compassion in our hearts and pray for ALL involved.

Natalee’s family is going thru a pure Hell that the majority of us have never known and pray we never do. I have a 16y/o son and I can't even begin to imagine the pain.

There is absolutely nothing in this site but wild speculation and intrigue for those who like to like to play amateur detective.

Take a look back and you will find that there has not been one fact mentioned here prior to being heard on TV. As proof, you'll find that most "facts" that are "reported" here turn out to be as false and misleading as they were when they were grabbed from TV. There have been no scoops.

The bottom line is that we still know very, very little about what's going on in Aruba. Have fun here, but don't get so carried away that you turn fiction into fact.

It is clearly enjoyable for some to be opining on this tragedy without knowing anything, really, about the case but a reality check from time to time is healthy.

All of us do share one thing...deep sadness for this child and her family.

I can point out numerous cases of vanishings that received less press than this one, consisting of almost every color or sex. While there are many reasons for the interest in NH, the key to this case is that it plays out like a mystery novel, with very few clues, leads or answers leaking out over a period of time. It likely has very little to do with the appearance, race or social staus of NH. I respect your opinion, but you should ask yourself if your opinion is possibly biased. I think that your handle would suggest so. All cases like this one are tragic. Some receive more than others. To belittle the importance of any case because of race or any other reason would be, in my opinion, ignorant.

If any of you had a who on the FULL history of X, prior to his assasination he LOVED WHITE PEOPLE.
