FBI Searching For Natalee Holloway - Reward Offered

Update: Arrests Made

The family of eighteen year old Natalee Holloway is now offering a reward for her return, though the amount of the reward remains unspecified. The FBI is in Aruba leading the search for the blonde honor student and high school senior who failed to show up for the return flight for her high school class on Monday.

Three Aruban men were questioned and released in the disappearance. They have not been labeled suspects and claim to have dropped the teenager off at her hotel early Monday morning.

Witnesses say that she was last seen getting into a car with an Aruban male upon leaving a popular night club late Sunday night. The family has been unable to identify her in hotel security tapes which were provided for review.

It's unclear if foul play was involved, or if something transpired in the early hours of Monday morning causing the teen to opt out of her return flight and drop out of sight.

I'm from Aruba. Some extra-official nieuws say that they found her dead in bushes in south of Aruba. Thay found along with her 1 matress with lood staines on it. This information may not be true.

I think it's horrible what that idiot wrote about another liberal being gone.This girl is beautiful and it sounds as if her future is very bright. I have been to Aruba many times before and I have been in Carlos & Charlies as well as a few other clubs/bars down there. People need to realize that even thought the crime rate is supposedly very low you still must be very careful. My girlfriend and I could have easily had a problem down there with several of the locals. We are going again on July 1st and I already told my girlfriend that if Natalee has not yet been found that I will find it difficult to not spend my entire 2 weeks helping to look for her. I believe she is alive on that island. I think if her body was dumped it would have been found already unless they dumped her in the ocean. In that case even if she does wash ashore it will be hard to find evidence to pin it on the lowlife animals that did it to her. I think she is being held at someone's house or apt. I would also concentrate on that empty hotel. See if any new cement has been poured or maybe a septic tank or something. I for one will not be visiting the local bars or clubs this year. I have a friend that tells me that there are 2 news papers in Aruba. There is the one that we see (in the hotel lobby) and then there is one that is printed in their language that we can't understand. The hotel version is all nicey nice and the real paper is where you find all the reality. There is also a major drug problem on the island that very few tourist know about or pay attention to. It's a great place, just keep your guard up at all times regardless of Aruba or anywhere including your own neighborhood.

Beth, you hit it right on. When you're 18 you're just learning about life and you're apt to make judgement errors. I did. I grew up in Aruba and returned every year for summer college breaks. There were many tourists who partied with the locals and it was all in good fun, except for an occasional raging hangover. I have heard from some sources who run a newspaper down there that the two detainees are not Aruban nationals. Not that that makes a difference but they have had a minor problem in Aruba with illigal immigrants committing armed robberies.
