Fox News is reporting that the FBI has requested that the family of Natalee Holloway not talk to the press regarding the case, or talk to anyone else, for that matter, or so it appears.
It can only be assumed that their reasoning is to somehow to prevent anything from damaging the investigation, or a potential prosecution. However, no official reason for the request was provided by Fox.

Why would they do this? Why? This leads me to believe that everyone involved in this case, from Aruban officials to the family and the FBI, knows whether or not this girl is alive or dead. Maybe they don't know what happened, yet, but they know her fate.

You might want to look at the new FOX banner -- it seems to be somewhat contrary to your posting on the issue of parental silence. Keep up the very, very good work. I have been glued to your updates for going on several days now.

I agree very good work on following this case. In relation to Monty's post, I saw that story earlier in the day and it does sound like the family has a lot of details about this investigation. I could not, without knowing the absolute truth, "suggest" two men held in the possible kidnapping of my daughter be released unless I knew 100% who was responsible.

Re MR Van Der Sloot(Joran's father)
Is it possible he is the cause of the denials, changes in stories, holding of two black men(obviously innocent), reinterpreting information via tongue tied officials, etc?
If this is an attempt to stall, and hope this will go away, I can promise you..there is real money in Mt Brook Al,which will insure that this will not go away, out of the news, etc unitl the truth is known- not made up to protect an overly indulged son! The people of this lovely island must not allow this to happen..wake up Aruba people ! Speak up!

I must say that your site has provided the most information of any other site. I have been glued to this case since the beginning and I am constantly checking for updates throughout the day. Thank You for the great info you are putting out. CNN seems more concerned with the Michael Jackson case. God Bless The Halloway Family!!!
