Update2: Without request, many commenters seem to have taken up the practice of posting an initial or nickname and general location - state, country, etc ... and wishing the family their best. If you wish to do so, I'll maintain this post near the top for awhile and eventually clean up all off-topic or inappropriate content, including references to me or this blog, and save the post as a web card of sorts for the preservation of readers positive thoughts for Natalee Holloway, her family and friends. The actual content within the post will also be edited to reflect an appropriate tone by removing statistics and reference to this site.
The eyes on Natalee title has to do with you, the readers. Since the beginning of the coverage here of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, approximately June 1st, the postings on this web log have attracted over 1 Million distinct "visits" by an unknown number of individual viewers, which has also resulted in over 1.75 Million unique page views.
Apart from being glad that I have been able to offer information to so many seeking it, I hope the family of Natalee Hollaway might take at least a small bit of solace in knowing how many individuals from America, to Aruba, Holland and elsewhere share a genuine concern for Natalee.

I have been reading since the beginning, but never posted. I just can't take my thoughts away from Natalee and her family.
I'm doing the most I can, praying, for the family. I think we should all synchronize a time today for prayer or a moment of silence for Natalee.

Thanks, Dan, for keeping all of us informed. My daughter graduated from high school last year, and I cannot even imagine the horror of dealing with this situation. I am praying for Beth and the family, and hope they have a resolution to this soon.

Amy, that sounds like a GREAT idea. Why don't we all take 5 minutes to pray for Natalee and her family at 1PM today (EST).

Not sure why i have been compelled to follow this case from the beginning but I have.Maybe its NH's beauty....or the sincerity of her family...or the fact that I have a daughter close to her age myself. Its just so frustrating at this point to see that we're still at square one with the investigation.
A tiny island with keystone cops for security.
I'd beat some answers out of those 3 at this point.
I hope the whole world boycotts aruba if this goes unsolved.....bet that would bring some answers.
WHERE ARE YOU NATALEE?????
You and your family are in my prayers every night...
God Bless

I would like to add my name to the list of those who are in prayer for the entire Holloway/Twitty family. To Natalee's parents, it is through your tenacity and devotion to your daughter that this case will ultimately be solved and for that I commend you.

To the Holloway et al family: I can't begin to imagine your pain but I too have a daughter that just graduated from Homewood and my heart and prayers have been full for Natalie and all of you. Beth, as a mother, I know that only in God can you be getting the strength I see in you. I will continue praying and hoping that Natalee will come home safely.
PS Are you aware that her specific name has been found in the Bible Code? God Bless!

I pray for Natalee and her family. She is a shining star in a world that can sometimes be awfully dark. Evil does exist because of man's original sin which empowered Lucifer to execute his evil schemes here on earth. If we have lost Natalee, I'm quite sure she will be among the closest to God in heaven. And, her star will shine even brighter, because the darkness of this world will no longer be able to subdue the brightest, most innocent and precious among us. I pray that Natalee will be found safe and the family able to return home to Alabama.

My prayers go out to Natalee and her family. I feel so connected to them in small ways. I am in northeast Mississipi and lived in Meridian, where Natalee's dad is from, for many years. I believe we have mutual friends. Also my sister lives in Birmingham and I feel like that city is my home away from home sometimes so I feel somewhat connected that way. I wake up every morning hoping that they have found Natalee. Prayer is very powerful and I hope evrybody will continue to pray for her and that justice will be served.

To the family of Natalee Holloway: I hope you find the answers you are praying for. Beth, you are absolutely right. Natalee is "everyone's daughter," and that's why people are so concerned about her and you. God bless you all.

Dear Holloways,
We are ALL with you! I admire your strength and pray that you overcome the forces of evil and ineptitude and apathy that you are facing.
And heck yes, I am now back to saying Boycott Aruba!!! And Holland too while we're at it. Not because we don't like their citizens, but we are disgusted with the (in)actions of their government bureaucrats.
We are all watching and we will NEVER forget this story. God bless you all and stay strong.

Although I am not participating in the blog exchange, I read your site about Natalee daily. Thank you for providing such a wonderful exchange. My prayers continue for Natalee's friends and family as well as each of you who touch each other's lives through this dialogue.
Continue to be positive and accurate in your comments; you can represent the best of caring Americans to the international audience this site serves.
And keep an open mind to the options other that JVDS...although highly suspicious....who knows.

Dear Beth,
My thoughts, prayers, and attention have been with you from the moment I learned of Natalee's disappearance. The story hit so close to home as I had just returned from Aruba on vacation with my boyfriend a week before she went missing. As the eldest daughter of a very strong, very loving mother of four young women, I couldn’t help but feel a connection to you and your relationship with your daughter. Your faith and strength has been nothing short of inspirational. In the face of so much fear and uncertainty you have set a true example of what it means to be a child of God and an exceptional Mother. I cry for you and the pain you family has been forced to endure. I pray for you and for Natalee that the truth becomes known. I wish you, your family and your loved ones peace and love. Take comfort in the arms of God. Let him continue to hold you up, hold you close, and help you hold on. Amy H, NYC

AmazonBuzzy posted a brilliant idea: Our collective prayers/powerful thoughts, to be done at the same time, throughout the day, would be something we could actually DO. I believe in the power of such things, and if we were to all do it at the same time, like every hour, on the hour, whoever is available; then at any given time, millions of us would be directing our thoughts and prayers towards the finding of Natalee, and justice.
We just need to get the word out.
I am encouraged by the many comments of prayers being said for Natalee. And we do not want to leave anyone out, so however you want to direct your positive energy, please do so. It will be one powerful whammy!

Heard about Natalee (through CNN) the day of or after her disappearance...
Since then my thoughts are with her and her family
she could be my daughter, she could be my sister, she could be me when i was 18, light & trusting, thinking the world was good
she is my sister...
what happened to her could had happen to all of us being 18 and even older
No one should never blame a victim...
A few days ago i found this blog so much better than CNN
Thanks to Dan
Thanks to all of you over the world
it's good and powerful to feel this world wide community
made of all our thoughts for & towards Natalee
may she feel we are wrapping her with our endless arms
our endless love
Love to all of you...
Love to Natalee

All the best to the Holloway family and they can continue to count on our full support in Texas. Now we need the US government to pressure The Dutch, Netherlands to assist (oversee)in this investigation. The Aruban officials are way over their heads on this case and need to stop worring about saving face!!!
We Just need to get things on track and resolve this case!!!

A Prayer to St. Jude for Natalee
Most holy Apostle Saint Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered the beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Make use I implore you, of that particular privilege given to you, to bring visible and speedy help, where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and help of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly your request and that I may bless God with you and all the elect forever.
I promise, O blessed Saint Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you. Amen.
To be said when problems arise or when one seems to be deprived of all visible help, or for cases almost despaired of.

To the family, friends and loved ones of Natalee Holloway: I, like so many others around the world, have followed this tragedy from day one. My husband says I have become "obsessed" with following the news, etc. and I guess I really have. I cannot get Natalee and the rest of you off of my mind. I have two children of my own and I cannot begin to fathom what you must be going through. My heart and prayers go out to all of you. Just remember that "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it."

Dan,
Who could every thank you enough for your relentless dedication, support, and provision for so many of us to grieve and communicate with the Holloway-Twitty families. It gives me great comfort to know that at least one person will go above and beyond for the sake of compassion.
Beth and Jug,
I, too, have a daughter that bears a resemblance to your Natalee. I can not possible express in words what your actions have done for our country. You have shown through responsiveness and due-diligence your commitment to family, intense love and dependence on God, and above all, reminding all of us what true love and relationships are all about. May the Lord our God continue to bless you and yours.
I have not and will not stop praying for Natalee and may our Lord give you His strength.
