Update2: Without request, many commenters seem to have taken up the practice of posting an initial or nickname and general location - state, country, etc ... and wishing the family their best. If you wish to do so, I'll maintain this post near the top for awhile and eventually clean up all off-topic or inappropriate content, including references to me or this blog, and save the post as a web card of sorts for the preservation of readers positive thoughts for Natalee Holloway, her family and friends. The actual content within the post will also be edited to reflect an appropriate tone by removing statistics and reference to this site.
The eyes on Natalee title has to do with you, the readers. Since the beginning of the coverage here of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, approximately June 1st, the postings on this web log have attracted over 1 Million distinct "visits" by an unknown number of individual viewers, which has also resulted in over 1.75 Million unique page views.
Apart from being glad that I have been able to offer information to so many seeking it, I hope the family of Natalee Hollaway might take at least a small bit of solace in knowing how many individuals from America, to Aruba, Holland and elsewhere share a genuine concern for Natalee.

Hello from Atlanta GA. I am originally from Birmingham and my family still lives there. I do not have children of my own but this mystery surrounding Natalee's disappearance has touched me on so many deeper levels than I have ever imagined or could have even conceived.
I pray dailey for God to strengthen Natalee's family through this terrible trial they are facing. I pray for Natalee's safe recovery back to her home, family, friends and the warmth of her loved ones.
We don't often understand why bad things happen to good people and why bad people get away with doing bad things. But know this, the Power of The Lord God in Heaven is with you all as you go through this journey and know that at least one man in Atlanta is on his knees dailey before the King of Kings praying for mercy for your family and Natalee.
When I face times of trouble I have one verse that brings me comfort and I would like to share it with you:
Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
Godspeed to the Holloway/Twitty's and to Natalee
From Phil - Atlanta GA.

To the family, friends and loved ones from Natalee Holloway:
A week ago I came back from Aruba before I went there, Natalee was already missing. The story caughtmy attention. Being in Aruba I couldn't let go of it and followed all the news, saw all the searching activity, felt all the emotion on the island. Now that I am back home in Holland I still can't get it out of my head. I so hope that Natalee will be found. I so admire Beth Holloway for her strenght and although I can only feel just little of the pain Natalee s family, friends and loved ones are feeling. I want you all to know that your pain is being shared even here in Holland where Natalee and the tragedy is the first thing I wake up with and the last thing before I go to sleep.
Keep your strenght!

Beth:
Anyone would be proud to call you mom. You are a stellar example of what a true mother is -- fierce love, loyalty, determination, and Southern grit. You are like a pit bull -- you are hanging on and refuse to let go. You and your family are in our prayers and thoughts. Our hearts break every day that Nat is not found. May God continue to give you strength and encouragement.

I have now read probably over 10,000 posts over the past 3-weeks between riehlworldview and scaredmonkeys. I posted my theory early on and got blasted. I sent Dan an email about this only and answered with 15-minutes confirming his a agreement with my theory. And, since then I have only lurked.
This is an amazing mystery with all of the bells and whistles. It sure has kept my attention and has made it difficult to focus thoughts on daily life.
Sadly, I believe the least complicated scenerio will prevail although I hope for a more positive outcome..... teen vacation infactuation, hookup, date drug, accident, panic and coverup.
And, you can add cultural clash to the aftermath confusion.
Thanks Dan for the meduim that we all have participated on. Blogs are interesting and informative.

Feeling rather frustrated up here in the Northeast; hoping for some positive news, but fearing the worst.
I've gone to Aruba perhaps 12 times, however,
If the news reports are indeed true- that the Aruba police botched the early part of the investigation- for whatever reason, then this is one Yankee who won't be going back to Aruba.
My personal boycott.
Yes Natalee, we will still remember you.

Dear Beth and Family,
As a mom of three teens, I would be as diligent as you are in bringing your child home. Until she is found, I hold out hope that she is alive. And even if harm has come to her, I hope you find peace in being able to bring her home with you. My heart goes out to you and your family at such a difficult time. I hope you get some answers, even if thye're not the ones you were hoping for.
Stay strong. Natalee will give you the strength to go on. God bless you and your family.

Beth and Family,
My thoughts are with you. You are strong and will do whatever is necessary to survive and to bring Natalee home whether that means her, her body or memories.
I believe that everything happens for a reason. What is the purpose of this? It is very obvious that when this nightmare is over, Beth, you need to get yourself out there to educate young adults on the issues of travel. You are a teacher.....you know it in your heart that Natalee would not want another family or child to ever go through this again.
Again, my thoughts are with you and your family.

America's Daughter Natalie I have prayed every night that Natalie is found at least to give some closure to her family. It is not a secret that Aruba has shown preferential treatment to the Van Der Sloots. I am an American who lived in Curacao and that I saw with my own eyes. The Dutch are the gifted and the Aruban do not count except to serve us when we go on vation.

Our deepest heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the Holloway family. We all know that justice is not, in ANYWAY being served in this horrific situation. Does anyone know if our federal government is involved in anyway ,and what, if anything they can do to assist the Holloways?
I know that Congressman Bachus and Senator Shelby have been involved, beyond that I have not heard.

I've been keeping up with this blog for about 3 weeks now and this is my first post. I have to say to Dan that I'm very impressed with the information he's been able to provide.
My heart goes out to the Holloway family. I'm amazed at how Beth is able to keep going. She is a mother of courage, strength, endurance and above all - LOVE. I can't begin to imagine how hard this is on her and the family. I hope they find Natalee soon! Beth, we will be here to support you as long as it takes! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Early last week I searched and searched to find somewhere to order the 'Hope for Natallee' bracelets. Luckily, one of the radio stations in Birmingham started offering them online - which is good since I'm in Georgia and can't get away to drive to AL to pick one up. I want to do my part to support the family and the search, buying a bracelet isn't much, but every little bit helps. If anyone else is interested, the radio station's web site is http://wzzk.com/event_guide/nataleehollowaybracelets.html

Thanks Dan for such an informative website!
My thoughts and prayers are with Natalee and her family during this horrible time. I want to say that I so admire Beth's strenth and determination in finding her daughter, and I hope the Arubian authories realize that Beth is not going anywhere unless its with Natalee! Please know that myself along with many many other people have you in our hearts. Not a day goes by that I don't think about Natalee and the anguish that her family is enduring right now.
Keep the strenth, and remember, we have all come to love Natalee and we all want her back home in the USA!

I can't begin to imagine this nightmare for Natalee's family. I'm an outsider who is in total disbelief and outrage at the Arubian authorities for allowing this to go on... seemingly FOREVER! Where I work and from all my friends we are behind Natalee's family. We want Natalee found, let her go home with her family!
The Arubian government is worried about bad press? Get Joran to talk!

God has chosen Natalee to teach us all to have faith in Him and to love, care, and help one another. I can't begin to know the pain and agony the family is going through, but I do share in their grief and pray for Natalee's safe return. But if it was her time to leave our physical world, then we must take comfort in knowing that she is in a MUCH BETTER place than we.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Beth in this most difficult time. Never lose your faith in God. We love you, Natalee.

Prayer to Saint Anthony
Blessed be God in His Angels and in His Saints.
O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God
and Charity for His creatures made you worthy, when on
earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on
your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in
trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore
of you to obtain for me the safe return of Natalee.
The answer to my prayer may require a miracle. Even so, you are the saint of Miracles. O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full
of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the
Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms, and
the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours.
Amen.
