Disappointing Development

I just saw this at ScaredMonkeys.

Kalpoe Family Denied Texas Equusearch From Searching Around Their House

A great deal of information comes to RWV, most of which, to be honest, I cannot simply pass along and inundate certain individuals I speak with in Aruba.

One reasonably solid bit of information I did discuss with some others was a report that the Kalpoe brothers were seen washing their car very thoroughly in what was said to be an unusual location near their home. This alleged activity was also reported to have been witnessed by an additional party, as well.

An initial on site check by another individual seemed to confirm that from the looks of some very specific observations made at the location, this bit of information could be accurate and potentially worthwhile.

After other discussions with yet a different individual closer to, but not directly involved with the search itself, it was reported back to me that everyone in the chain agreed that this particular search would be attempted with the dogs.

It seems that didn't happen. What is it, I wonder, that some might have to hide? Or are private property issues simply that sacrosanct to the Kalpoes?

Would you deny such a seemingly harmless endeavor to a group of people searching for a lost girl if you had nothing to hide?

Here's the big picture for me. Our society as a whole...MODERN society, not just American...has become totally desensitized. Kids live on violent video games, our young are exposed to inappropriate sexual content WAYYYYYYYYYYY too early. Child molestors get off scott free, while finance savvy floral arrangers (Martha Stewart) do time! Not much time, mind you. I believe if we as a Nation...and even a world, as there are many other countries who's heart aches for Natalee's return...show a united front...We are not going to put up with it anymore.
DRUGS....supply and demand. How can we protect young people from drugs...when Mommie and Daddy have their own private stash? Child pornography, pediphiles...Are we soooooooooo tolerant that we allow terrorists in to our country...So passive that we turn the other cheek only to see our children slaughtered? OUR VOTE does count. When politicians see that there are good decent people still left....that want their kids and grandkids to have a safe place to be..things will change. It's not a white rich American girl. It's a human being! An innocent! Who's civil rights were seriously violated in Aruba...where's Jesse when you really need him, huh?

This is something that I read on one of the sites, that the Kalpoes' Family business is cars... importing and exporting. I only saw it once. Is there any truth to them being in the car business ? Did they export any vehicles after Natalee went missing ? I don't think that the Kalpoe parents have anything to do with this, but it would be a perfect way to get evidence ( a body )out of the country.

The Shango stuff is incredibly creative and very fascinating in a 'D & D' sort of way. But it's starting to annoy the 'you know what' out of me to see everyone jumping through hoops every time a new post appears. I have half a mind to turn it over to my uncle, who is retired Secret Service/Treasury, and let him pin down exactly who is posting this mess and if it is for real. Some info is coming right from the news. The other day he mentioned Natalee was headed to Panama. Well being a nightowl, I had stayed up very late the night before and heard a story on TV about Panama Jack. A fisherman that was 1/2 mile off Aruba when he ran out of gas. His tiny boat was caught in the current and he drifted for days on end until he ended up in Panama.

IMO, red herring or just guessing... points in too many directions at the same time

I read a bit of the Shango stuff at first and then I just started paying attention to when he showed up. Noticed he disappeared for a few days recently after someone busted him...said Shango couldn't be local because he didn't understand Papiamento. As Greta Van S. notes, the fact that these guys thought up a fake story so quickly is significant. If the email is real, then it is a record of the false story.

The reference to the fall and inebriation, and sexual activity, may be a preemptive attempt to explain bruises, screams, semen and other evidence of foul play. Also, he may be weaving real events into the false story...

Did Natalee scream because she wanted to get out of the car?

Good point Kat Gram. If the body has been put in the trunk of an exported car, this would be the best way to get it out of the Island...no trace.
Following this hypothesis, I don't think the plan would be to get rid of the body at land destination (too many people potentially involved). In addition the smell increases with time so more chance for it to get detected.
The only plausible scenario would be dropping of the body from the transportation boat.
This would mean at least one accomplice on board.
I agree with a previous mail that there is less chance that the K parents could be involve. So the brothers should personally know the accomplice(s).
Maybe some clues could remain as a smell in a trunk or leakage of corpse liquids. Maybe somebody has noticed some smell from a trunk of one of these cars upon arrival?

Really? I hold three citizenships (with the corresponding passports) by birth - from my mother's country, my father's country, and the country in which I was born. One of these is the USA. The 'government notice' in each of the three documents is pretty much the same, apart from country-specific terms.

Out of curiosity, I also checked the passports of my boyfriend (2) and my downstairs neighbours (3 among 2 people), for a total of eight passports perused from eight different countries. Every one had very similar wording in the official statement. I am not sure what you think is particularly special/impressive about the US passport.... could you elaborate, please? Thanks.

I've read posts about Lorenzo. I know this guy personally, for years already. He is in no way linked to the NH case. His name was brought in by gossip, the police have searched his house and nothing was found. The police have searched many houses in the desperate need to find Natalee.
