Take a look at these two images, one identified as suspect Croes. Could these be the same individual? The ears seem very similar - but I am not sure. If so, it could have tremendous ramifications for this case.
Update: Get a grip folks - posting two images people have placed on the Internet is not smearing anyone. I asked a simple question. I could have done it just as easily by linking to two different places. Stop over-reacting to every thing. Another comparison of two images.

It is not the same person. They have completely different noses. They may look a like, as many other people look a like. But, it is obviously not the same person

Well that is the photo from the Croes homepage that I found yesterday and posted a cached link to, but everyone said it wasn't the right Steve Croes.
The pic from Diario is not the guy in the partying pic that everyone says is THE Steve Croes. This one looks similiar, a questionable similiarity, but certainly closer than the guy in the party pic.

The man in the smaller pic looks older than the one in the cap. His nose is slightly narrower and more defined than the cap guy. But that could be a camera angle.

I had emailerd you before,but got no respond.
Now, there is a deliberate attempt to cover-up the "guilty party" or THE ONE WHO WAS INVOLVED (in the dissappearance ) BY WAY OF ROUNDING UP THOSE WHO WERE IN CONTACTS BUT NOT INVOLVED.
So, don't get all shooked up of this so called The Fourth Man or The Fifth etc,etc.
My suggestion is to THE FAMILY-THE HOLLOWAY'S-to do a separate investigation by the most unconventional ways but proven effectives,get a psychic detectives,contact the Court T-V Producers.

Dan - I think you may be guilty of the old "they all look alike" thing. I don't think they are the same man at all. However, the earlier party picture does, indeed, appear to be a thinner version of the suspect, probably when he was younger.

I saw the pic of the Steve Croes on the left on his website before it was taken down. This is the Steve Croes (i think), that everyone is referring to as the "pilot"/"emt", the one that wrote the book review that everyone has been passing around. I do know though that this guy (on the left) took all his links down shortly after the arrest and name was released to the public. I'm sure if he isn't the "suspect" Steve Croes (which I don't think he is), he took it all down to protect his privacy.
Just my opinion.

From the side by side pic I did of all three, it looks like cap guy and party guy are the same. I flipped party guy so he was facing the same way as cap guy and made the pics about the same size. You can see they look to be the same guy.

Definitely NOT the same guy.
Steve Croes on the left has more of an East Indian look.
Steve Croes on the right has more of a mulatto look.
I've been following the Scared Monkeys message boards, and two posters there know Steve Croes on the right, and before the news broke, said that he worked for Tattoo, the party boat.
When they were shown the picture on the left, people were googling like mad when the name was released, they said it was NOT they Steve Croes they know.

I agree with FLorida Girl. Suspect pic looks older and heavier but similar to collage pic. As for this guy and his privacy.. a lot of good it did him to take down his sites. Of course, he can now parlay his 15 minutes into an appearance on Fox, write a book, and star in a made for t.v. movie if he gets the right agent that knows how susceptible we Americans are to instant gratification. God forbid if you have the same last name as some guy who, BTW, as far as we know, hasn't been charged with anything and might just be there as a witness. You can hide behind this being speculation and opinion, but on an ethical level some folks need to calm down. Of course that's just my opinion....

Abdul - yes, those guys do look funny. When I was a kid, my dad made fun of some random obituary because the photo was of the deceased in one of those "party pics." Cigarette in mouth, bottle in hand. You know, just like the ones all over this site:

It's just funny, because for an entire evolutionary class of people, parties seem to be the only setting in which photos of them exist. There are never pictures of them depicted in restrained, or tasteful, situations. Everybody dies one day, and when they do, they'd better have a good picture of themselves so the world doesn't see them posing in a drug-addled, hackneyed, Eminem-esque gesture.
But I suppose the main take away is this: Nothing radiates class like throwing up a gang sign and blinking when the shutter clicks.

Yesterday, I think we were all sure that the guy in the party pic was the right Steve, but when the newer shot of the "heavier" Croes was posted on the MSNBC website, it caused everyone to rethink which was the pic of the arrested Steve Croes. But I agree with Florida Girl and others that the party pic and the new pic with baseball cap are definitely the same guy.

I believe that the pictures are of the same man. If you look closely at the facial features, I think you will see that they are the same. The two different poses makes his nose look different (one is more pointed then the other) because one pic is straight on and the other is at an angle but you can tell that it has the same basic shape with wide nostrils - the lips are the same and are a very distinct shape in both pics as well as his right eye appears to be a little smaller in both pictures.
My opinion is that they are the very same person.
I am also curious as to why you feel these two pics (if the same man) would have an impact Dan.

Dan, please post something about this. Contact Roel for confirmation. I find it very distressing to drag an innocent man into the equation, just because he happens to have the same name.
If you have info to suggest otherwise, post it. If not, this is just creating confusion and is very unfair to Steve Croes on the left.
I also find it mindboggling that people are saying that it's the same person. Obviously they haven't had exposure to mixed ethnicities.

I agree! It took me about 5 seconds to decide these two were not the same. It is obvious to me (and a couple of others like yourself and Angie) that these two men are of different ethnicities.
Maybe Roel can clear this up because it isn't fair to drag the Steve Croes on the left into this.

Dan, if you want a real comparison why don't you put up the skinny version too? I don't think it is the same guy, the arubans on Scared Monkey who know the arrested Steve don't think it is him and the Arubans point out Croes is a common name. Roel knows of what he speaks I say take it down. There are differences in the nose, chin, and brow. We need to be more careful to protect the innocent and not go off on a tangent without a very solid basis.
