Update: Brief communication from island - at least some in search party feel optimistic they will find Natalee soon - I'm unable to say why, or if just a feeling - hope to have more tonight.

EquuSearch head said to be arriving today, will review previous findings and team will set strategy for search when rest of group arrives.

Just wanted to say that it is interesting that Pops was arrested now after they took two cars from their house a few days ago for testing. I wonder if they found evidence that Natalee might have been in one of those cars????

Also, the rug fiber thing. They took out the entire carpet of this woman's house on A&E's Crime show and found fibers that were linked to the crime.

OK,here's my guess....and I don't think it is pretty:

NH leaves C&C at 1:00am with JVDS. JVDS picks up the two brothers. During the drive, JVDS and NH have a makeout session in the back seat. They drive to a secluded beach area.

Three boys gangrape NH (I make this from early reports that the boys "had relations" with NH). I don't think they needed any date rape drugs. He is 6'5", she is 5'3"....she ain't goin nowhere.

NH drowns on own vomit while being sodomized. (the found Lysol was to clean up vomit, not blood as there was none).

JVDS calls dad. Tells him something bad happend. Dad comes to meet the boys (would explain his cars being impounded).

PVDS helps the boys plan the disposal of the body so that they cannot be charged with murder (no body...no murder). They need a boat. They contact Croes. They transfer body to Croes along with some $$$. Croes takes the body out about 5-10 miles into the trade currents. Weights it, drops it in. Croes gets paid a nice sum.

PVDS picks up JVDS at the McDonald's at 3:00am following the transfer of the body to Croes. The two Suriname guys head home (I am not buying their story that they dropped NH and JVDS off...they lied about the Holiday Inn security guards...they assisted in the transfer of the body to Croes).

JVDS, fretting that he might get caught, calls Croes at 6:30am to make sure the body has been permanently disposed of. Done deal....

Perpetrators spend rest of the early morning collaborating on a story with the assistance of PVDS.

JVDS goes to school and takes final exams (wow, how many parents would let their kids out late on the eve of final exams?).

Over next 48 hours the agreed upon story between the perps is the Holiday Inn Security Guard story.

Pure speculation...but I think this is how the night went. I really wouldn't be surprised if they took a few cell phone pictures/videos during the initial assault on NH. ....pssst...Aruban LE...check all of their cellphones for any images/video files that may have been taken if THEY HAVEN'T BEEN ERASED BY NOW!

IMHO, Paulus paid his son and friends to get him a nice American girl for a sex tryst while the Mrs was away. Natalee was the unfortunate victim of Papa's desires after seeing her at the casino in Holiday Inn at the Texas Hold'em table. Natalee died as a result and Paulus made the boys cover for him since he used them to kidnap her.

Daddy VDS getting arrested - Well maybe that is why Joran is convinced HE's innocent cause Daddy is the guilty one. Joran is probably pinning it on Daddy now although I do think they were all in on the crime and cover up. I imagine that Anita is so ashamed and upset, she went into hiding or left the country. I agree that it is something along the lines of what Isalnd Hopper just said. The guiltiest one in thsi whole ordeal is the Judge/Father. Joran & Co.are his accomplices. I do however believe the actual death of N was not planned on, but who knows at this point. I think PVDS is the only one who knows where she is...alive or dead.

1. Why would PVDS "lie" and say his son was out gambling at 3:00AM, pretend to call him on his cell phone and send everyone on a wild goose chase when his son was probably in fact at home unless it would be to "buy time"?

I think PVDS helped in the disposal and, therefore, helped come up with the alibi(s).

I had been trying to figure out why oh why these boys haven't caved by now and I think PVDS is the reason, IMO. I think he told them: No matter what - DO NOT CONFESS. Given PVDS's occupation, of course the boys are going to do what he says to get out of it.

Quite possible Satish and Deepak really are innocent, but PVDS needed them to provide an alibi for his son. And maybe he threatened them in some way to get them to stick to the story. Either that or the brothers have dirty hands, too, in some way. Otherwise, I really thought THEY would have caved by now.

I do believe it for many reasons. mainly that Papa would not want to be seen picking up a tourist himself being the judge in training and married and wanting a YOUNG girl. Joran's chest banging and "what do you want me to do?" act in front of his father, was a show of anger at the father IMO. Beth went to see Anita hoping to cause tension between her and Paulus, It worked.
Aruban law gives priviledge to family not just a spouse.

They leave CC the 3 of them. They go to SC get some party drug or something. Go to JVDS appartment. They do the drugs, more booze maybe, jvds starts making out with her, calls in the others, she freaks out starts making a fuzz, meantime Steve gets there too, they fight with her trying to make her shut up, she falls bumps her head or one of them freaks out and chokes her. Now they have a body. By that time Dad gets there, sees what has happened and they create a plan to get rid of her. They put her in the dad's car and bring her to the boat. They make up the story of the drop off. When this doesn't hold they make up the beach story.

Hello everyone. This is my first post on this blog although I have been reading for several days. I am not at all surprised about papa judge paul van der scum was arrested. I felt for some time now that he had something to do with this. I don't think anybody here truly knows what although there are some very good hypothesis'. I personally believe that JVDS took Natalee back to his place somehow and his father was well aware of this. What happened next is anybody's guess. I also believe there are other shady characters involved and the FBI and local authorities are probably following that angle. I truly pray that Natalee is alive somewhere and can be found, but at this point, that is highly unlikely. We'll see if PVDS will crack now that he is a criminal suspect. We need some of my ex military fellow interrogators and give us about one hour with these four. No rules, no cameras, no promises.
