When Ace and Fausta independently invited me to guest blog for them as part of a team they picked, I had no idea this week would break as it has. I don’t have a minute to deal with the alternate mode of posting required by both blogs. Needless to say I am incredibly flattered by both offers. Temporary new readers here unfamiliar with blogs need to check out these two sites.
Fausta at the Bad Hair Blog is an incredibly intelligent woman and hosts an exceptionally consistent and well-written blog. I would recommend it to all of Ace’s readers, too. Okay, maybe not all … I did say she is highly intelligent, after all. Heh! Please check out her blog here.
As for Ace, what can I say – you are … well, Ace. I’ve admired your talent, adaptability buoyed by a certain consistency, and Herculean effort to maintain and grow a large blog for some time.
More important you’ve been a friend and have never forgotten a friend with a smaller blog when you could help him out with a link, or whatever. Though there’s a few things you passed on for which Hoke should kick yer a$$. But, I digress.
Fausta readers meet Ace, Ace readers, meet Fausta. They both in their own way define different aspects of the best of blogging – please check ‘em out.
John at Wuzzadem, an intelligent, funny and accomplished blogger in his own right is helping me out at Ace's place. And a little humor might be a good thing right now, check out his archives. And another fine blogger, Ken from SmadaNek is helping at Fausta's place. Don't buy what the MSM might say about blogs. Check out these linked sites and you'll get a good feel for what the breadth and depth of blogging can provide.

Probably because we're dealing with an island government, but as an observer I've never felt the anxiety of the ups and downs of an investigation like this quite so personally. It's impossible to imagine what her family is going thru. This is cruel and unusual punishment. At this juncture I can't believe they have not at least discovered the location of Natalee's body. I lost my son seven years ago and while the reality took weeks to replace the shock, the first thing I wanted was to hold him. Didn't matter what condition he was in. I know that's all Natalee's mother want's as well. God find some mercy for these people.
