A US Hispanic group, Hispanics Across America is demanding an apology from Jennifer Wilbanks and suggesting that the running bride be sentenced to do community service within a hispanic community to make up for the injury she has caused the hispanic community as a whole.
"While I understand this is a troubled woman, we cannot and will not stand for any racial stereotyping of Hispanics as criminals and thugs," Fernando Mateo said.
Fernando Mateo, the group's President claimed that Jennifer Wilbanks put hispanics men in danger with her false report, while also contributing to bias against them.
In their rounds of television shows today the would be groom and his Father suggested the wedding would go forward if it was the right thing to do. Interviewed by Sean Hannity on radio today, John Mason, Wilbank's fiance insisted the couple had maintained the "purity" of their relationship before marriage even though they've lived under the same roof for the last month or so and he wanted everyone to know that.
John Mason said Wilbanks was working on a public statement. No one answered the door Tuesday at the Duluth home shared by Wilbanks and Mason, or at the home of Wilbanks' parents.

I think Ms. Wilbanks should at the minimum:
1. Pay all for all the manpower used to search for her.
and
2. Be prosecuted for the false report of being kidnapped.
There I said my two cents worth.
