Knife, Shovel, Fresh Dirt Found In Jennifer Wilbanks Search

A North Georgia media outlet is reporting that investigators have found a large knife, a shovel and freshly turned earth near an abandoned house which also had a tarp inside.

Searchers called police who then called a crime scene team that spent time going over the items before taking them away. Authorities say the search area is expanding as she was a marathon runner.

The items were discovered near the town of Duluth.

DULUTH - Some items of interest were discovered Thursday during the Duluth search for Gainesville native Jennifer Wilbanks.
