I'm working on a longer but light piece hopefully for posting tonight. In the meantime Fausta at The Bad Hair Blog sets the tone for this weeks news, likely driven by Bush's trip - good point. She has a good round up and mucho links here.
Cass at VC is predicting the second coming ... of Ross Perot. "There's going to be another Ross Perot, and this time he's going to be younger." I'm still thinking McCain might pull a Bullmoose move and split conservatives and moderates and open the door for a Hillary win. And don't think I didn't notice Hiilary and John making nice and conservo-moderate together in Iraq this weekend. My God, the ticket from hell. How could you beat it?
Wuzzie is woosing it while covering Wandy the Wabbit - WTF is that all about? Oh yeah, the Heather has two mommies and a bull dyke in her future?? deal. Time will tell, thank God it's only PBS and only the Moyers clan actually watches, right? One can hope, anyway.
Cranky is doing a last angry man impression over Ward Churchill as a poster boy for affirmative action. Frankly the only affirmative action I'd want to see from non-red Red man Churchhill is making sure he wears a condom so his tribe line peters out. Didn't any one ever stop to wonder how you supposedly get an indian named Ward in the first place? Beaver, maybe, but Ward? no way.
Hyscience has an email from Bobby Schindler, brother to Terri Schindler of the Florida ordeal. I'm surprised I haven't seen many if any large blogs rally to that cause. Maybe too busy plotting their next hit to save a life, if such is your opinion on the matter. I hate to say it but were it me - I think I'd want to be released. Of course, that's precisely the nature of the problem, Terri can't speak for herself. Such a shame, reqally. I can't imagine the emotional turmoil from that entire affair.
Wizbang is winding down the Gannon affair pointing out that the WHite House Press Corp is none to pleased with the liberal blogs behavior in outting Gannon. I garee, but then more than half of that press corp probably has plenty they wouldn't want public ... hmmm. Principle, or self preservation?
And Powerline is doing the Foxhunting ban in Britain. HUH? Yeah, that ought to resonate through Red State America. Beautiful things, foxes, especially in the wild. They're incredibly fast and hard to even find, let alone spot. I'm glad I've had the pleasure. But if I wanted to hunt one I'd take a shotgun and not a horse, sorry.
Okay, so I'm link whoring. But I'm trying to mix up the big as well as the best (that would be my friends) so I can at least get a post up and get on with my writing. And if any traffic does get spread around through the weekend doldrums, so much the freakin' better. So, get over it. ; )

Errm,...Dan. You left out "Indeed" and "Heh" and "Read the whole thng".
