This was the time when all the signboards of dog meat restaurants have changed to Dangogi restaurant. However, this is the case for only Pyongyang or formal publications. In general, ordinary people and outer regions rather call it Gaejanggook, which means dog stew, since dog meat cooked into stew is the most common type of Dangogi dishes.

WFP monitors say

A WFP spokesman told BBC News that many people would be unable to supplement their allocation of maize, rice and potatoes with any meat or vegetables.
