This is the part where I'm supposed to cruise around the blogs and what all then come back with tasty bits of news and views, make alternately snarky and / or insightful comments and link you to more of the same done with varying degrees of intelligence, wit or abject stupidity.
Well, they're all upset, as usual. They're upset about Kid Rock at the Inaugural, (thank God for spell check, Typepad has it now) the UN, the tsunami and who gave how much to whom, etc, so on and so forth. Well, sorry, I'm not upset. It's Saturday - I'm chillin'. I posted some fun, hopefully not too banal fair for you to enjoy and I'll be back. I might even do a pop quiz. So read it all and relax. The UN, Kid Rock and the ocean will all be here on Monday. I promise. And you have to read this with feeling. Or it doesn't work.
Georgia......Georgia..........the whole day through
Just an old sweet song.....keeps Georgia on my mind
I said now, Georgia.....Georgia......a song of you
Comes as sweet and clear.....as moonlight through the pines
Other arms reach out to me.......other eyes smile tenderly
Still in peaceful dreams I see.......the road leads back to you
I said, Georgia........ Georgia......... no peace I find
Just an old sweet song........keeps Georgia on my mind
(instrumental break)
Other arms reach out to me........other eyes smile tenderly
Still in peaceful dreams I see......the road leads back to you
Now ya know it's, Georgia....Georgia...no peace, no peace I find
Just this old, sweet song......keeps Georgia on my mind
Just this old sweet song.......keeps Georgia on my mind
Louis Armstrong recorded this song with his All Stars
December 12, 1956

Moral to the story...If ya' go with Georgia ya' ain't gonna' get laid.
