I'd like pseudo orchestras and would be rock bands to stop re-making Christmas Carols with an oh so snazzy beat.
Furthermore, the appeal of the Sinatra-esque vocals with the "Hey, Jack, I'm really hip" feel while singing Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer is simply lost on me. Sorry.


I'll second that and raise you one. How about leaving in the original words too! Also glad to see someone use "quasi" properly!

Right. And is it just me, or is Christmas music by Manheim Steamroller the musical equivalent of paint-by-numbers? Their stuff seems to be utterly without inspiration; formulaic, the selections are poorly paced, it's repetitive, dry, annoying and completely devoid of musical sentiment. It's awful. Or maybe it's just me.
