In a recent post on sitemeter numbers I made a comment about Kos' numbers being so high. It's since come out that Kos or his supporters have been running a script to skew the votes in Wizbangs Awards contest. And the proof is actually right on the Kos site where they were bragging about it in comments and even posted the perl script used to do it.
I'm unsure if that is more dumb than pathetic, or pathetic than dumb. These would be the people calling for a recount in Ohio? It's disgusting. And is it really much of a leap to suggest that Kos or a supporter is likely doing the same thing with his overall site traffic numbers to drive up ad revenue? I won't link his site here for obvious reasons - this is just one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen in this regard.

You've raised an interesting issue regarding Kos. Are their daily totals fake or are there that many left wing morons out there in the blogosphere.
