Al-Zawahiri Vows to Keep Fighting U.S..

CAIRO, Egypt — Top Usama bin Laden lieutenant Ayman Al-Zawahiri vowed in a videotape excerpt shown Monday to continue fighting the United States until its policies change.

Remember when the terrorists where talking - kill all Americans and laughing at attacks on our country. Now they're down to stating: "Elect Bush, Kerry - the devil himself. We want you to change policies!" Sounds to me as though they just want us to leave so that they can go back to status quo - good reason to finish the mission - they sound just about "done" - the "stick a fork in" type.

Oh, to be the one to stick the fork in this guy a few dozen times before dragging him off for a visit with Egyptian or Saudi interrogators.

There's no question that they miscalculated, but their former opinion of us was rational considering our responses since 1978. They've gone from ruthless arrogance to "fighting" until we change our policies (?). This is an admission of defeat.
