As you probably know by now Teresa Heinz Kerry has released the top two pages of her tax forms. The press release claims she paid: "approximately 35 percent of her gross taxable income."
True, just not accurate. Forgetting all the income we will never see because she is not releasing all of her tax form with its "charitable" donations to left-wing causes the reality of her "effective" and entirely legal tax rate is as follows:
.........gross taxable income of $2,291,137
...tax exempt interest income $2,781,791
.....................Total...........$5,072,928
Federal Income Tax paid .........$627,150
"Effective" tax rate..................12.36%
So, who gets to pay a federal tax rate of 12.36%?
Married filing separately.............Head of household.......Tax rate
Up to $7,000 .......................... Up to $10,000 ..............10%
$7,001 - $28,400.... ..................$10,001 - $38,050..........15%
If you made from $10k to $30k in 2003 Congratulations! You're in Teresa's tax bracket.
Does it make you feel rich? It should. Because everyone knows by the time Kerry gets done with taxes and regulations you're going to be paying an even higher percentage of your income in taxes or fees while Teresa enjoys the benefits of her shelters.
These are the people telling America we need to pay more taxes. There is no better proof of the stupidity of liberals than these simple numbers and Teresa's complicated tax hypocrisy.

Actually, from what I've read, the upper 2% of taxpayers that Kerry thumps on all the time, are actually paying more taxes since the tax cuts. Unless of course you're uber rich like Heinz Kerry.

The tip off to the Kerry/Democrat plan is the number of ultrarich who support it ie., Rockefeller, Corzine, Kennedy, and probably a whole slew of tax lawyers...
Someone emailed me with a picture of a campaign button. It said, "Kerry, helping the rich manage their money, one rich widow at a time."
