Harsh word? How else can you describe it?
Of course the MSM won't decry this as "divisive," that word is reserved for the Republican bin the hacks go to for their biased prose. This just absolutely disgusts me. Who causes the so-called racial divide in our national electorate? The democrats do and frankly it's abhorrent. There is no shame with these people who intentionally open and aggravate wounds between white and black for the sheer pursuit of power.
Their capacity to divide white and black for the sake of shilling a few votes demonstrates their abject lack of respect for anything resembling a united America and their total disregard for the longer term damage they do to race relations as a result of their hate-based rhetoric. Edwards is proving himself a poison puppy with no significant credentials to even qualify him for a run for national office. Shame on the unprincipled lil' Senator ass-pimple for his on-going fetid pimping for Kerry.
Sen. John Edwards ... issued a warning Saturday to Floridians about Republicans.
"We know they're going to be up to their old tricks, right, trying to keep people from voting," Edwards told supporters gathered at a community block party. "We're going to make sure that people get to vote. We're going to make sure those votes count, and here in Florida, democracy is going to decide who the next president of the United States is going to be."
As he spoke, barefoot children bounced inside two inflatable structures, the heavily black crowd ate hot dogs, and a supporter with dreadlocks banged on bongos and blew a brass horn at key lines from Edwards' speech.
Edwards said. "And, we know what's coming, right? We know what's coming. The Republicans are already up to it."
