Unions to Democrats: About those Convention Donations? Go Hang Yourself
Unfortunately, the unions will be there for Democrats where it matters – at the ballot box. Still, it's about time someone said no when Democrats have their hand out. Between that and dipping it into the pockets of taxpayers, Democrats are always putting the grab on someone else's money.
The Democrats are hitting up unions — their go-to cash cows — for last-minute donations to help pay for next month’s convention in Charlotte.
The response from some big unions? Tough.
This little act is only to give some distance and plausible deniability for the DNC after Trumka’s union super PAC dollars and 400,000 union “door knockers” get rolling on their door to door confrontations. I wish I could believe better of my fellow man, unfortunately, their actions have made it impossible.
