12 Chicago principals, assistant principals removed after lunch scam

Wait a minute. Isn't Obama from Chicago? Tony Rezko's and Rod Blagojevich's Chicago? And didn't Obama say we need to hire more teachers because that was the problem, not the system?

And I bet you thought there was no such thing as a free lunch! Note, they haven't been charged with a crime … yet. That will depend on how well they are connected. Meanwhile, Rahmbo's only solution to getting kids to stop killing kids in Chicago is to say, just say no. Hmm. I wonder why they didn't learn that in school?

CHICAGO — The Chicago Public School system has removed 12 principals and assistant principals for allegedly falsifying free and reduced lunch forms for their own children, according to a report from the Office of the Inspector General and CPS.

None of the 12 assistant principals or principals have been charged with a crime, but have been removed from their posts pending due process hearings. Their names have been withheld during the hearing process. The program costs about $100 million per year and is meant to provide nutritious meals to needy children.

Gee Dan. We knew it is a huge scam because they send our kids home with the paperwork. I’m just glad that by 2012, some 30-40 years later, they actually hold someone accountable. Of course it is Chi-Town so maybe they were just getting recognized as Educators of the Year…

    Two words to consider…
    Arnie Duncan.
Chicago schools are riddled with corruption.
