Google Hypocrites: Ads of death
A couple weeks ago, Google stopped serving ads here. I received a non-respond, or automated email linking to a 2005 post, when I was covering the Natalee Holloway disappearance. The post noted a Fox report and mentioned possible rape and murder.
The rationale I was given via form letter was, they don't serve ads to sites with disturbing content. A small publisher can forget trying to reach them. They aren't interested. There was nothing in the post a larger news site wouldn't also offer.
Ironic, considering I was just by Alexa and came upon a Google ad featuring a head on car crash that killed three people I could have done without seeing. Screencap below. A couple million hits for Google's YouTube. Hypocrites. You don't mind using death to sell yourself, you just use tech to make stupid judgments of others. No wonder your politics look to be going left.
It’s moonbats, Dan, they look for conservative sites and then file reports to Google.
Has nothing to do with ‘content’.

I got sandboxed in the UK for the same in 2007 – took a long time to come back up in EU searches.
Then, a year later, they sent a letter demanding I remove ‘offending material’ but would not tell me what it was.
I knew – it was a regular commenter.
I dropped Google rather than censor a reader.
You don’t need it, amigo.
Consider it a small price to keep your integrity.
