E.J. Dionne, Jr. Must Resign

By

Ah, I feel so much better, now. I also think the air this idiot Dionne breathes would accomplish more were it reserved to prevent O-Zone depletion. But as long as he's breathing it, I guess he gets an opinion, just like every other … person. yawn

Justice Antonin Scalia needs to resign from the Supreme Court.

He’d have a lot of things to do. He’s a fine public speaker and teacher. He’d be a heck of a columnist and blogger. But he really seems to aspire to being a politician — and that’s the problem.

No, E.J., the problem is, you think your opinion matters because someone pays you to waste ink on it.

Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.

  1. Lightwave says:

Hear me out. Let Dionne go there.
Let Scalia be run out of town on a rail. Let him resign.
Let liberals set the precedent that a Supreme Court justice can be driven from the bench by public pressure over politics. It assures a Romney/GOP landslide in November.
Because I guarantee you if that happens, by the end of Romney’s first term in 2016 we will have gotten rid of Kagan, Sotomayor, Ginsburg, Breyer, and then Kennedy’s wobbly votes won’t matter, and there will be 9 conservatives on the bench, and the last 80 years of New Deal liberalism will be permanently gone.
In the end we always win, Dionne. You should know this. Start this fight. We will end liberals and liberalism in this country, period. We will have a strict Constitutional country. Scalia being hounded out of office would only move up the timetable of total, complete, and permanent conservative victory from 2020 to 2016.
    I’m good with that.

  2. I definitely savored every little bit of it and I submitted your site to some of the biggest social networks so others can find your blog.
