Content warning for text-based harsh language.

If you don't appreciate extremely politically incorrect humor, please pass this by. It is intended solely as humor, no hard feelings. But no sacred cows, either. You've been warned. NRO, Mitt, Huntsman, Rove, Lowry, Ponnuru, Erickson, Rubin, Texas and even Stacy McCain makes a cameo appearance. Just good political punditry fun, fun, fun, however twisted!

    “…text-based harsh language”
I’m trying to figure out what that means…

  4. USA American says:

Only wingnuts could make a parody of this scene pathetically UNfunny. Wingnuts do not get humor.

It would seem that the suckers at the little ethanol piggie teat in Iowa, who sent out flyers pimping for Romney and Santorum, didn’t get the last laugh with telling Iowans not to vote for Rick Perry because he would end the ethanol subsidies.
The ethanol subsidies, in place for 30 years to the tune of $45 million in taxpayer money, expired, without Congressional renewal, at midnight on 12/31/11. Memo to Iowans: the check is NOT in the mail. Congress also lifted the tariff on Brazilian ethanol.
Last night Governor Perry was gracious enough to post on RS. Today, Erickson is once again trying to tell Governor Perry what to do and who to get rid of on his campaign staff. Erickson, who has never run one campaign, now seems to think he is the answer to Karl Rove or David Axelrod. He’s not. He’s using “insider” “anonymous” sources. Memo to Erick: if you were part of the inner group of Perry’s campaign, and had the clout to advise Governor Perry, you would have known he was staying in the race.
Does Erickson think he is helping Governor Perry with his constant harping about the campaign staff? He’s not. And his band of merry followers seem to accept that Erickson knows what he is talking about. Again, I would ask Erickson how Governor Perry managed to win all those elections in the past without him.
The lines are being drawn: Fox refuses to even discuss Governor Perry acting like he doesn’t exist, Erickson is pretending to be on the inside track of the Perry campaign (he isn’t), Iowans are learning that the little government piggie named “Ethanol Subsidy” just died at midnight on 12/31/11. Santorum is going to implode (fame is sooooo fleeting), Romney is attacking Newt with all he’s got, and Newt is going to fight back like a cornered mama couger and Paul’s base is simply stone slackers who want drugs legalized and 9-11 truthers.
The fat lady is in the wings and she ain’t gonna sing until the end of April. Game on.

Technical note: you want white text with the black outline, so it doesn’t wash out.
Much belly-laughing found here. Lot of hard work for four minutes, no?

  7. zane? you are a complete douchebag. May a bag of ethanol infused Doritos™ explode in your lap.

I don’t read Red State all the time, but it’s a smart blog. Erick is frustrated because with Perry’s tremendous credentials and (I know this will be denied) personability, it is very disappointing that he’s getting his ass kicked.
Perry won all those other elections because Texas is sane. We don’t even really like Perry so much as we realize he’s doing a good job. We’re voting for competence. We don’t want an ubermench. The rest of the country (not all of it, but a lot) really wants someone to tell them they will have their problems solved and this candidate is super cool and smart and elite.
That’s why Obama is president today and Mccain was the GOP.
Perry actually attempted to win Iowa after opposing corn subsidies. He’s tried to win seniors after admitting Social Security is a Ponzi Scheme. he’s a bona fide leader who has the results to back up his views, and it really should have worked.
I think his staff got rattled by the negativity when Perry entered the race. they stopped bashing Obama and started bashing Romney. I wonder if that was a mistake. OK, I don’t wonder. Clearly the F’ed it all up.
