Insulting Video: Romney Will Say Anything To Get Nominated

From Mitt's disastrous concession speech last night – via Byron York's item. Read it, then see the 6 second video. Emphasis mine.

It was perfect in every sense but engaging with the voters. Romney's stump speech was a clipped — some would say dumbed down — list of generalities, concluding with this: "I love this land, I love its Constitution, I revere its founders, I will restore those principles, I will get America back to work, and I'll make sure that we remain the shining city on the hill."

Tell us about it, Mitt.

I found the speech especially hollow when Mitt referenced the "shining city on a hill", clearly trying to sound Reaganesque. This from the same guy who said "I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush. I'm not trying to return to Reagan-Bush."

What is your beef with that simple statement of fact?

For me it was the “hope of the Earth” line. I loved that line when he’s said it before. But last night he said like it was one more stump speech quip to spit out. I don’t think Romney believes a word of the Tea Party slogans he’s adopted.

I’m still for Santorum, but I absolutely don’t want Mitt Romney to be our nominee. My family in FL is supporting Rick right now. Perhaps they’ll switch to Newt. They don’t want Romney to win either. We just don’t care for establishment types. Establishment Republicans have helped bring us to where we are now in our country, in my opinion.

Look, I’ve been saying this for a couple of decades now…
Business CEO types are not people you can expect to be open, leading Conservatives, and to stand up for principles.
They just are NOT. That kind of action runs counter to a lot of their training, experience, and instinctual thinking. They are consensus-builders, negotiators, and Chameleons who do not risk their stockholder’s interests with open, partisan positions as a rule. That is largely how they should be, BTW.
I doubt Mittens has any kind of fire in the belly, having worked for so many years to quench those kinds of traits as part of who he was.

Romney doesn’t like former the late Pres. Reagan. Reagan was a good man and was the best President in the 20th century. It show that Romney will say anything to get nominated. Romney is not conservative and he will not get my vote. The reason I can’t vote for Romney because of the Romneycare,he will raise high taxes, abortion’s right, and gays in the military. Romney is remained me of former Pres. George H.W. Bush, another RINO’S. Romney can’t beat Obama because Romney is not very good on the debate. It is going to hurt the Republican Party.
