Rep. Michele Bachmann gave an invigorating speech to the members of the Tea Party a few days ago.

With her fundraising numbers that shocked some in the media, she is a force in the conservative movement.

Comments:
  1. Gary Ogletree says:

My dream ticket would be Palin/Bachmann. Palin has the business and executive talent and Bachmann knows her way around Congress. And they both have the guts to take on the corrupt media and the smarts to tie them in knots. Some want to set up a rivalry between them but I see two kindred souls. The whole game has changed and these two incredible women know it.

  2. Nishner says:

    That’s my dream ticket, too!

  3. A conservative voter says:

Bachmann and Palin will not get the nominee in 2012. They both have a ‘lack’ of inexperience and leadership. And they don’t know who the Founding Fathers and their names. They should have read the US History book.

  4. HTW says:

The nominee is likely to be either Huckabee or Romney, tough as that may be to swallow. We can hope to get one of these women on the ticket, though. I’d like to see Bachmann as the vice-presidential nominee. She’d balance out a ticket, especially with Huckabee, and unlike Palin she has experience at the national level.
I think it’s sad that Bachmann and Palin are lumped together, frankly. Bachmann is educated, gives the impression that her speeches on issues are not coached, and has a distinguished record. She is not a circus on parade, and I am very, very happy that she is pushing Palin from the spotlight. And unlike Palin, who the Democrats are secretly hoping wins, she really strikes fear in the heart of the opposition.
