I am sorry Mr De Mint, it is Mitt Stiffney’s principles that we are worried about. Nice try though, Mr De Mint.
With a pool of 58% who won’t be voting for Dear Leader, and given the dire straits this group now knows America to be foundering in, we don’t have to accept whatever the Elites will allow us.
Even if we end in squandering the 58% on three or four candidates in opposition to the Adversary, the Elites’ charge we, the unwashed, are unleadable, ignorant and obstinate it will ring hollow. And like Israel’s ’73 war, sometimes tank commanders can save a nation led by incompetent, self-obsessed generals.
Haha, I hope the fringe right Republicans like the principles of either Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee or they’re going to be very disappointed.
The GOP has already settled this issue. The principle is called “electability”. To be electable, the only true Republican is a Democrat and the only true conservative is a liberal. Every good candidate we conservatives back will be dismissed as “unelectable” while the only argument they will make will be the usual “we need to back someone who can win”.
If the GOP insists on throwing 2012 to Obama by shoehorning a place holder in 2012 in preparation for Jebbie in 2016, let’s make sure that we make it clear to them that there will be no GOP in 2016. That will be the penalty for their war on conservatives: extinction.
Suddenly personality is a bad thing, just because Sarah has it.
Finally the GOP has someone with the right principles, the determination to fight for them, and a great personality to boot, you would think they’d be happy. They must carry their inability to connect with ordinary Americans as a batch of honor, these grumpy old men of the GOP.
obama was just dealt a crushing blow to his signature domestic policy…
all number one seeds in his ncaa bracket have lost.
my foreign policy bracket has qadaffi beating bambi.
should be “badge of honor”. Note to self, never post on a Sunday!
GOP = Grumpy Old Poops! I’m a RINO but not the kind Washington or the leftists like. I’m a conservative, who is registered Republican so I can help decide candidates in the primaries but it appears the fossils who insist upon electability have their heads up their butts again. Put up yet another candidate who’s Democrat-Lite and I sit out the election. I’m NOT voting for a Huckabee or a Gingrich or a Romney. They are tainted goods who are too acceptable to the left, which to me means they don’t have the strength of character to steer this country away from financial ruin. Give me someone like Allen West or a Scott Walker. Christie’s OK, but he says he isn’t running. If he changes his mind and runs, he’s a squish and I won’t support that. I WANT A MAN WHO KEEPS HIS WORD. Even better, elect – at long last – another Mason. Find a candidate who speaks his mind, doesn’t mind having a position and winning people over to it. Goldwater said it beautifully – a choice, not an echo!
How ’bout this…
how about NOT deciding the nominee just yet.
How about WORKING, TEACHING, and CAMPAIGNING.
Or, ya’all can just piss in your beer.

LOL (as the delightsome Drago would say!)
I wonder if Obama feel a little embarrased about it at all, perhaps we will find out tomorrow night!
