Reince “Walk Right In” Priebus: An Ugly RNC Debate Roundup

Mike Flynn has a complete roundup on the RNC race at Big Government. Meanwhile, Fox reports today's debate may get ugly because Chairman Steele plans on "making it personal."

Here's a little tidbit from inside the RNC. For the most part, there were few RNC members who enjoyed an "open door" policy with Chairman Steele. The main one, who loved to take advantage of his no appointment necessary access will also be in the debate today – Reince Priebus. That might give you some idea of just how close and clued in was Priebus when it came to decision-making at the RNC. You know, those decisions that so many people seem to be taking exception to, now, including the Little Preince Priebus? Funny how a guy like the Little Preince can help make decisions and then turn on someone once they sense an opening. Just sayin'. Stay tuned. It just might be a fun debate, who knows?

The ‘frontrunner‘ to succeed him is Reince Priebus–because Augustus Gloop III wasn’t available. Preibus, in addition to being party chair in WI, is the former right-hand man to Steele. He served has the campaign manager for Steele’s run for Chair and then took a staff job as General Counsel at the RNC, which would position him to approve all of Steele’s contracts with outside consultants or friends. Which he did, apparently.

So we have a serious debt ceiling issue to worry about and you are stressing about Rience Effin’ Priebus? There is no hope for this country.

  2. If the RNC were a corporation I’d be dumping my stock faster than an Enron accountant. As it stands, NOT ONE RED CENT from me.

This is one reason conservatives despair of Republicans. We get to choose between the stupid and the crooked.

I hate repubs and all you people are stoooooopid.

  5. JLancaster says:

No money to the RNC. Give to http://senateconservatives.com/ This is the Senate Conservatives Fund.
The RNC seems to be infiltrated with neo-statists as Mark Levin calls them.

This reminds me of the ‘votes’ that took place in high school for ‘Class President’ and ‘Class Vice-President’, etc. (quotes are to denote the questionable labels here as except for status among the class ‘Insiders’ they had little power and were of little help to the student body vs the School Administration).
Everyone knew that only a certain number of insider types would make it to the actual ‘election’ and that it was strictly a popularity contest amongst a limited group of people. Just a trial run for those who would go on to be township supervisors or maybe state rep/senator. Practice at political grooming.
Those that did make the final cut and actually run were members of a small clique that for some reason were the people the Admin always turned to to ‘represent’ the student body and form the committees that the teachers/counselors and admins could puppeteer.
As I understand it the people voting for the chairman are all insider types and have little to nothing by way of relating to the ‘rank and file’ Republican conservative. They seem to think that it’s their party to do with as they please and to hell with the voting public or the needs of the country.

In 1858 Lincoln ran for re-election to State House and won as a Whig, then gave up the seat before investiture to run for Senate(still elected by State legislature) against Douglas, the most prominent Democrate nationally.
This looks a lot like a reprise, the end for the neoWhigs.
