Rendell on postponement of the Eagles game: You think the Chinese would call it off?

Governor Ed Rendell was not all that impressed with the postponement of the Vikings v. Eagles game last night.
He said it proved our nation is full of wussies.
"My biggest beef is that this is part of what’s happened in this country," Rendell said. "I think we’ve become wussies."
The Chinese government would have forced Michael Vick’s mom to abort Marcus Vick.
Rendell’s right.

I never thought it could happen! After eight years of disagreement with my governor on almost every issue I finally agree with him on the “Wussiness” of America as demonstrated by the cancellation of the Eagles game.
Way to go Ed. Maybe you’re the real comeback kid!

Yep, Rendell’s a tough guy alright. Especially when he and some cronies steal the Barnes art collection from the place the deceased owner wanted it shown over to Philadelphia, spending a couple of hundred million dollars in taxpayor money in the process.

Jaded by Politics, you are spot on! It is liberalism/socialism that has perpetuated the wussification of the American male. But every once in a while, a broken clock is right twice a day. Rendell is right, we are a nation of wussies. But it is mindless policies that have turned us into such. It is not just politicians that have contributed to this, but society as a whole.
