Ouch! I Want My ObaDaddy!
Oh, man … this New York Times piece just drips with sad. He didn't pay enough attention to us!!! Waah!!! Geesh, man up. And is it really surprising to now find that Obama's seen as a fad that came and went? But the poster bit, that's the real kicker. Jaysus, what kind of wet dreams were these college kids having? I shutter to even think about it. I'd rather have kids who didn't vote, than these pathetic sounding mopes.
Less Involved, Young Voters Say They Feel Abandoned
… free posters of President Obama — once “the Michael Jordan” of politics, as one freshman put it — are now refused by students.

“It’s not the fad anymore,” said Jessica Kirsner, 21, a junior from Houston and vice president of the College Democrats. “It’s not the fad to be politically knowledgeable and active.”
As if most of those former Obama supporters were politically knowledgeable.
Hmmm …
… I’m inspired to make an Obama pacifier.
The demand is there.
Have I been this dense for years?
This ‘fad’ mentality is a sure sign that there is a valuable weapon at the GOP’s disposal.
We need to make being a democrat politico seem uncool. Being a GOP politico is already seen as dorky, but we need to get it into the mainstream that being a democrat youth is lame. Just a fad. Something to be ‘over’.
Should be feasible, since they often get duped by corrupt democrats. Being ‘beyond’ the political system could be some kind of trend.
