As I mentioned to you in Twitter a coupla minutes ago, I couldn’t get through to Brown’s local office (phone mailbox full) here in Taxachusetts yesterday or today to urge my junior Senator to vote NO on the Frank-Dodd bill.
DID get through to DC office after 3-4-minute wait (with tasteful Mozart piano concerto playing in background) just now, registered my opinion and asked whether the wait meant they were getting lots of calls. Yes, she said.
When I asked which way the calls were trending, she said she couldn’t say. I asked whether that meant she WOULDN’T say, and she said yes. Sounds to me like they’re trending NO!
