More Democrat Tea Party Fail
Let's reason this out. Polls repeatedly demonstrate that whatever the public thinks the Tea Party actually is, it is far more popular with them than the Democrat or Republican parties.
And the Democrat's strategy for November is to brand Republicans as beholden to the Tea Party. Is that correct? What genius thought this one up? They got nothing, folks. They. Got. Nothing. They spent months trying to create groups to mimic it. Now, they are attacking it. Yeah, that makes sense. Geez.
Democratic National Committee chairman Tim Kaine will be accusing GOP leaders of being beholden to the Tea Party's agenda at a press conference this morning, mocking Republican plans to offer voters a legislative commitment modeled after the Contract with America.
As part of its initiative, the DNC is launching a website accusing Republicans of supporting a legislative blueprint in line with the Tea Party movement that includes repeal of the health care law and Wall Street reform, extending tax breaks, privatization of Social Security and the elimination of the Department of Education and the Department of Energy.
"The Tea Party is now an institutionalized part of the Republican party. They are one and the same," a DNC operative said, previewing Kaine's speech. "The positions espoused by the Tea Party is the governing platform of the Republican party. And as voters make their choice this fall it's important to understand what the Republican-Tea Party wants to do if elected."

As a member of three different tea party groups, I think Kaine is an idiot. The GOP should be very happy to be burdened by the Tea Party.
If we’re going to play “your wife’s uglier than mine,” I guess the GOP could respond with the SEIU thugs beating up Kenneth Gladney. There’s a marriage that needs a little light thrown on it.
First they ignore you.
Then they ridicule you.
Then they fight you.
Then you win.
Yawwwnnnnnnn….Does Kaine and the DUMBOcraps understand that no one is listening to them anymore?
Maybe the GOP collective head will ‘splode from being told they’re beholden to the Tea Parties, yet the Tea Parties insist they’re ignored.
Then, the headless GOP can set about working in a non-Ruling Class fashion. You know, for the people, and stuff.
This could work.
“Tim Kaine will be accusing GOP leaders of being beholden to the Tea Party’s agenda…” They had damned well better be beholden unto us. I’m tired of the RINO Express. Yeah, well, per Smitty, this could work.
Would that it were true.
If the Republican party could take the enthusiasm for the American people and it’s exceptionalism from Sarah Palin, the straight talk and fiscal discipline of Chris Christie, Mitt Romney’s money and Andrew Breitbart’s contempt (deserved) for the Media, we could have something worth voting for in November and beyond.
How amazing that you thought the exact same thing I thought however you write WONDERFULLY my thoughts…lol! The idiots tried this line of attack last August when the townhalls were up and running and then as you said they tried the coffee clatch bullcrap and on and on and they wind up as they ALWAYS DO back at step one which is the LOSER!
Okay, the GOP is beholden to the Tea Party and the Democrats are beholden to the violent leftists labor unions and NAACP racists, and the New Black Panther Party. Wonder which way the independents will go????
“And the Democrat’s strategy for November is to brand Republicans as beholden to the Tea Party.”
And since the Republicans (Assistant Democrats) can’t stand being mocked by the Democrats (the mother ship), they will bend over backwards to trash the Tea Party.
Prediction for 2012: The GOP will nominate a Romney or other establishment globalist Republican, and lose to Hillary. She will win because she represents a return to balanced budgets, low taxes, robust job growth and a robust economy. The GOP nominee will represent a return to Bush. It will again be “yeah we suck but not as much as the Democrats”.
Hey GOP! We think both parties are as bad as the other!
Of course, we could change that by making sure that McCain loses in August.
The Tea Party also wants the name “Obama” stricken from all federal records
If you don’t mind, i’d like to change this abit.
“Polls repeatedly demonstrate that whatever the public thinks the Tea Party actually is, it is far more popular with them than the Democrat or Republican parties.”
to:
…whatever the MEDIA thinks the tea Party actually is, it is far more popular with the people than the democrats or the republican parties care to admit.
I was hoping that they would come up with an election strategy that focuses on telling the American people how they plan to reduce the deficit, exit victorious from Afghanistan, and foster immediate and massive job growth. Oh yea and “drain the swamp”. Is that too much to ask for?
If Ambinder and other Journolistas actually believe that the TEA Party is a racist group , he has no experience on the ground with Tea Party enthusiasts, who are almost entirely against higher taxes, either by Dems or Repubs. “Taxed Enough Already” is their chief theme, and the MSM’s attempts to portray them as racists is not backed by YouTube or other evidence. By any standards, the NAACP audience’s snarky reactions to the Sherrod remarks about not helping the white farmers show their bigotry and bias. No comparable tapes exist for TEA people. The American people are in the process of rejecting hacks like Kaine & know that most TEA Party folks dislike Republican deficit spending under GWB almost as much as the Democrats’ two trillion dollar deficit with various ineffective “stimuli.”
Democrats are dumb. Why don’t they understand the Tea Party people poll higher than President Obama and much higher than either party in Congress..
The hubris of President44 conjoined with Pelosi and Kerry arrogance and hypocrisy, add the decapitation of Arizona by Holder ,reckless Dem spending and the constant attempt to portray the “teaparty” members as racist morons is a sure fire way to lose an election.Keep talking Mr.Kaine and galvinize most Americans into voting Republican in 2010.
“As part of its initiative, the DNC is launching a website accusing Republicans of supporting a legislative blueprint in line with the Tea Party movement that includes repeal of the health care law and Wall Street reform, extending tax breaks, privatization of Social Security and the elimination of the Department of Education and the Department of Energy.”
Wow, I have never seen such extremist positions in modern politics! I’m getting the vapors from that Tea Party rabble!
Wait a minute, did one of you crackers mention the black panthers and the democrats? ‘Bout time you get dat sh*t right! Now, where my favorite crackers 2penny and cracker-dick to tell you dat you be wrong??? Come on crackers, tell ‘em good,, tell ‘em real good!!!
This comes from only listening to themselves.
Surely they’ll be too busy gloating about all their accomplishments to talk about the minority party!! Health Care, Auto bailouts, bank bailouts, budget under control, unemployment, stimulus, straightening out Arizona. The list goes on and on.
But, but, but….
I thought the Tea Party was just astroturf? Ya know, a group of people that the “Party” had to pay to just show up and hold signs? I thought no “real” politician gave them any credence at all, because they weren’t serious?
We tried to tell them to ignore us at their peril…..
I don’t like tea, Nescafe’ is much better…..
Isn’t it great, when a Democrat commits hari-kari, right in front of you? More, please!
