Obama: Don’t Make Excuses
Let's see. Blame Bush, the GOP, blogs, Wall St., Fox News, BP and whatever else. But, don't make excuses. Got it. Check!
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) — Don't mimic Washington by making excuses, President Barack Obama advises graduating high school students, and take responsibility for failure as well as success.
In remarks to be delivered Monday evening at Kalamazoo Central High School, Obama says it's easy to blame others when problems arise. "We see it every day out in Washington, with folks calling each other names and making all sorts of accusations on TV," the president said.
He said the high school kids can and have done better than that.
And if you think that’s hypocrisy, well, then that’s your own fault.
You beat me to the draw. This was exactly my reaction to his “no excuses” blather.

You see, blaming folks, companies, etc. is reserved only for “The Won”
I think President Magnificent is reacting to remarks that have been made about his “governing” style. He’s trying to talk tough, he’s saying “don’t make excuses”, he says that talking to Louisiana fishermen isn’t just a “college seminar”. He knows what the public is saying about him, and it stings. But the only way he has to fight perception is with words. Real action just doesn’t occur to him.
