Why Did Obama Name Dimon And Blankfein?
Why would Obama not mind Dimon and Blankfein getting huge bonuses?
Feb. 10 (Bloomberg) — President Barack Obama said he doesn’t “begrudge” the $17 million bonus awarded to JPMorgan Chase & Co. Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon or the $9 million issued to Goldman Sachs Group Inc. CEO Lloyd Blankfein, noting that some athletes take home more pay.
Well, Dimon has given over $100k just to the DSCC. Plus individual candidate donations, most of which go to Democrats.
And Blankfein gives almost all of his donations to Democrats – $136k to $4k.
Why should Obama care, his party is getting its cut?

Obama is making it perfectly clear to waivering Wall Street money cows:
Pay big bucks to the Machine or my thugs will come after you.
Give serious money like Jamie Dimon or Lloyd Blankfein, and I will publically absolve you of all persecution.
it’s way beyond the 100k issue.
aside from outright nepotistic favors, if you are an elected rep and you need to find someone a job in finance, these would be guys worth keeping.
Nicely done.
Loons are “dazed and confused”
MSNBC’s “Morning Shmoe” and Chuck Todd are even bashing the baseball salary rationale as being “stupid”. In addition they outed the connection to wall street donors…”Barry King of the Hypocrit Fools”
King Barry’s own appointee Elizabeth Warren -Treasury Secreatary- stated she doesnt understand what the president is saying or doing with his wall street remarks…
Government Sachs and JP Morgan are special. The first is the Treasury’s bank and source of employees, the second is the Fed’s bank and source of employees. Gold bugs say Government Sachs manipulates the gold market to keep prices down, JP Morgan is said to do the same for silver. Political contributions are just the tip of the ice berg. If only the President knew…
It’s a lot more pleasant to have the activists in your home eating deviled eggs than outside your home throwing rotten eggs. This is why so many wealthy people give to the Democrats and to liberal causes — it’s the only way to be praised for your philanthropic heart, escape criticism for being rich, and still have inside access to the government to ensure that the laws and regulations are shaped to help you keep getting richer.
“It’s a lot more pleasant to have the activists in your home eating deviled eggs than outside your home throwing rotten eggs.”
Not for those of us who enjoy target practice.
Well no kidding Mr. Obvious – anyone with half a brain new they were big donors the second the words popped out of his mouth. Savvy? Savvy enough to pay up.
