Too Fat To Fly: Southwest Boots Filmmaker Kevin Smith
Does this mean Michael Moore will be spending more time at home and out of the public eye?
Filmmaker Kevin Smith, fresh from delivering a speech at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco, unleashed his fury on Southwest Airlines after the pilot on Smith's flight from Oakland to Burbank ejected him for being "too fat to fly" Saturday evening.
"I'm way fat, but I'm not there just yet," Smith wrote on his Twitter.com account after the incident, adding that he was able to lower both arm rests at his seat. "I broke no regulation."

Southwest’s six-across seating in its 727s does make for a tighter fit than other airlines that only do five-across on their smaller mid-range jets. Of course, that’s also the reason why Southwest is just about the only U.S. airline that constantly makes a profit.
I worked for an airline. For as long as I can remember overly large people had to buy two seats.
Drop the fork lunchbucket.

Sorry, John, no one flies 727s any more, as they are not fuel efficient with the extra engine. I suppose you mean 737s, but you are wrong there too, as most US airlines fly them in a six across seating configuration in coach.
Kevin “The Voice Of A Generation” Smith on Southwest? Boy his career must be going down the tubes.
