The Black Value Systemin pdf it has many prudent ideas for anyone – and that’s my issue with it. It isn’t for everyone – but for Blacks. How seperatist can you get?

Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness”
Classic methodology on control of captives teaches that captors must keep the captive ignorant educationally, but trained sufficiently well to serve the system. Also, the captors must be able to identify the “talented tenth” of those subjugated, especially those who show promise of providing the kind of leadership that might threaten the captor’s control.

Those so identified as separated from the rest of the people by:
Killing them off directly, and/or fostering a social system that encourages them to kill off one another.

Placing them in concentration camps, and/or structuring an economic environment that induces captive youth to fill the jails and prisons.

Seducing them into a socioeconomic class system which while training them to earn more dollars, hypnotizes them into believing they are better than others and teaches them to think in terms of “we” and “they” instead of “us”.

So, while it is permissible to chase “middle-incomeness” with all our might, we must avoid the third separation method-the psychological entrapment of Black
“middleclassness”: If we avoid the snare, we will also diminish our “voluntary”
contributions to methods A and B. And more importantly, Black people no longer will be deprived of their birthright, the leadership, resourcefulness, and example of their own talented persons.

What the hell is this guy doing running for President of the US if this is his church?

We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian… Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.

Trinity United Church of Christ adopted the Black Value System written by the Manford Byrd Recognition Committee chaired by Vallmer Jordan in 1981. We believe in the following 12 precepts and covenantal statements. These Black Ethics must be taught and exemplified in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever Blacks are gathered. They must reflect on the following concepts:

Commitment to God
Commitment to the Black Community
Commitment to the Black Family
Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
Adherence to the Black Work Ethic
Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect
Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness"
Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community
Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System.

Totally unreal. Sounds very un-Christian to me. “Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight” – is how it was taught prior to desegregation. Great strides in the past fifty years.

  2. seekeronos says:

It just goes to show you that certain movements and “leaders” of the Negro race are just as much sinners and misguided as the so-called “Christian Identity” racists who pollute the teachings of the Gospel amongst the white race.
Do not be fooled by this racist tripe, regardless of which idiot preaches it, or his skin colour, for it is written:
“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.”
    Acts 10:34-35 (KJV)
Indeed, stupidity is not constrained to any one race, but is endemic to all humans great and small.

  3. TheSpartan says:

I missed the part where it said “Kill Whitey”…I fail to see a problem here.

  4. Jeff says:

This sounds kind of like the Westboro Baptist church (AKA the “God hates fags” church).
It’s sad how someone would use the Word of God in order to advance their own message of intolerence.
So Barrack Obama is a black supremisist, for all I care he can go out preaching that whites need to be burned at stake. However, when he brings my God into it, and says those things, he has crossed the line.

  6. templar knight says:

Well, Greek, substitute white in the place of black in Obama’s Church concepts and see how that plays. Sounds like it could be from a Klan document. j/s

  7. Kite says:

It doesn’t have to say “kill whitey”
It’s still seperatist drool. Yet another example of civil groups and leaders being preachy about “Equality” but then they go and build a seperatist system designed to teach others that the “Black System” is the one that they should bow too.
Yeah, sure does sound like equality and harmony to me (sarcasm)

  8. Darth Malice says:

Obama looks to be Osamas puppit in America….looks like the Caliphate is about to expand.

  9. TheSpartan says:

The difference Templar being that no one has or is systematically oppressing “whitey” that’s the difference between an iffinity group and a hate group. Besides, the Klan is a terrorist organization.

  10. TheSpartan says:

Thing is if you read this stuff closely it’s about a community taking responsibility for the other members of it’s community and being better people by pulling themselves up by their bootstraps. No where does it make any effort to denegrate any other race or religion. If these guys were republican you’d be having them give speeches at the RNC Convention.
I find it humorous that Dan seems to be scared of any historically discriminated against group that stands up for itself whether they be Black, Latino, Gay or Feminist. You seem to feel alot of guilt about something Dan, what might that be?

  11. Dan Riehl says:

“No where does it make any effort to denegrate any other race or religion.”
Funny how you missed the “captive” “captor” bits … and they aren’t talking historically, they’re talking economics mostly. Typical leftist, marxist BS. And not the kind of ideas we need in a president.

  12. Web Reconnaissance for 02/22/2007

A short recon of what’s out there that might draw your attention.

  13. roux says:

I wonder how his white-half feels about these concepts?

  14. Kite says:

His half-white self can’t have an opinion because his half-black side would just claim the half-white side is racist.

  15. madne0 says:

“We are an African people, and remain “true to our native land,” the mother continent, the cradle of civilization”
    Cradle of civilization?!? Sure…

  16. TheSpartan says:

I know fully well what they are talking about Dan, would you deny that there’s some truth to it? What about recent history that shows how white companies advertise their products in predominantly black communities? What about standardized tests used for college admittance that are slanted towards whites and those with greater wealth? Dan just because admitting inequality exists makes you feel all weird and uncomfortable doesn’t mean it’s not real.

  17. TheSpartan says:

    Cradle of civilization?!? Sure…
Actually yes, it is. Ever hear of a country called Egypt?

  18. Dan Riehl says:

” know fully well what they are talking about Dan, would you deny that there’s some truth to it? What about recent history that shows how white companies advertise their products in predominantly black communities?”
The fact is, every system has economic inequalities. Capitalism much less so than soicalism and marxism, as neither allows any real room for upward mobility. And what’s wrong with companies, why you call them white is unworthy of discussion today, marketing their products and services in black communities? Should they deprive them of the same market choices as have white people?
What you fail to acknowledge, as most all liberals do, is just how many black people have left poverty and urban blight behind by advancing through our capitalist system.

  19. TheSpartan says:

And what’s wrong with companies, why you call them white is unworthy of discussion today, marketing their products and services in black communities? Should they deprive them of the same market choices as have white people?
I was referring to specific companies and HOW they market specific products to certain communites, ie alcohol and cigarette companies to be specific.
And actually having lived in some of these communities I have seen it first hand. As for some minorities advanving, you are correct but if you read closer they actually address that in the post you have shown. Now here’s the question, are you personally responsible for everything ever said or published by every group you have been a part of in your life?

  20. Hyscience says:

    Is Obama A Racist?

Dan Riehl wonders what the hell Obama is doing running for President of the US if this is his church? And by the way, what was all that crap about Obama being articulate? It seems that at the very least, Obama is a smooth-talking, politically inpt, for…

  21. LOL says:

except obama’s both races. Nice try.
When james brown said “im black and proud” was he being racist? no. wingnuts will never get this, but minorities taking pride in their race and trying to advance a disadvantaged racial group is not the same as the Klan trying to pin down a disadvantaged group.
It’s like this. Does anyone feel honestly threatened by those statements? No, because there is no real history of black people lynching whites or throwing them all in prison in america. History matters when it comes to this shit, but I wouldn’t expect wingnuts to think beyond jingoism.

  22. Laurie says:

Racism is everywhere and in every race. The misfortune is that is exists at all. It doesn’t matter what race you are you can be affected by it and being a white woman I have felt it’s affects. I will not support, endorse or vote for a person who does not see the problems with the doctorines of this black supremist chuch. I can tell you that if I as a white women decided to support white supremacy I would be crucified as a racist. Let me further add that the two biggest racist organizations in this country are the NAACP and the KKK. I see no difference in the two and if that makes me a racist I will take gladly take the label. Just as Obama should take the lable, by supporting and attending this church that is exactly what he is. Shame on anyone who helps put him and racist values in the white house.
