The Kos Corzine Connection
Here’s something I found which appears interesting enough. Supposedly, Kos compatriot Jerome Armstrong is Political Technologies LLC. During his run for NJ Governor, Corzine opened a diary at DailyKos on April 14, 2005.
According to this disclosure document, Corzine paid $12,000 to Political Technologies for "Media Time" on April 11, 2005. Another $6,000 was paid on May 18, 2005 and another $6,000 on June 3, 2005.
At the document above, you’ll also see what Corzine paid Matt Stoller under a heading "DD." Stoller was his campaign blogger. For whatever the reason, dozens of other names were paid under the DD designation, as well. But I’m not sure that’s significant.
But one thing is clear, Stoller was paid about $15,000 for his blogging plus approximately $200 for "Media Time" and a reimbursement for phone expenses. Political Technologies LLC was paid $24,000 all for "Media Time."
I think I’m giving up blogging and taking up hosting diaries.

Corzine’s burn rate must have been low — he was trying to pump up the numbers to draw more venture capital…

Like payola involved paying DJ’s to play records, “blogola” would involve paying bloggers secretly to shill for politicians. Or “Kosola,” some are calling it, because it chiefly seems to involve Kos. And his sorta-partner, Jerome Armstrong of MyDD.com….

I started out creating political campaigns at a local level in urban New Jersey, where Democrat/Republican didn’t matter (there WERE no Repiblicans). As my candidates won, the Democratic Party swooped in to make the winners their own, and divide the spoils. I got to see the Democratic operatives close-up, and I never saw a bunch of people who were more cynical and less motivated by idealism.
I can say this because, while a ruthless businessman may only be in it for the money, he most likely is not pretending otherwise. Jersey’s Democrats, however, endlessly extol a moral superiority based on the most dubious of political premises. (Mainly, their claim to righteousness lately is that they are not George Bush.)
All the while the Jersey Democratic gang continues to rape the public. What Dan is pointing out here is merely the tip of the iceberg. Delve into the Schools Construction Corporation (you can Google it, or search the Bergen Record) for a typical example of a major NJ public-sector scandal. And the emergence of these frauds does not prevent future frauds – without even knowing where billions in school construction dollars went, with no one going to jail, replenishment of SCC funds is being called for.
The only thing that may slow down this rampaging theft is the fact that the state is now nearly bankrupt. (This, at a time when other states are beginning to see surging state incomes. Is anyone actually surprised?)
